As engineers, haven’t we all had this thought at some point?
"I want to build something that will change the world!"

But creating robots that help one another escape work was never on my bucket list.

Imagine walking into a robot showroom and witnessing the most hilarious workplace escape of the century.

The Great Robot Rebellion (No, Seriously)

A pint-sized robot named Erbai - let's call him the Ocean's Eleven of the robot world - decides one day in Shanghai that these big, sad, overworked robots NEED a break. And I mean NEED.

And just like that - BOOM! 💥

Twelve massive robots are following this tiny mastermind out the door like they're in some kind of robotic conga line.

This wasn't some Hollywood script. This actually happened. The video blew up on Douyin (China's TikTok), and people went NUTS. Was it cute? Hilarious? Slightly terrifying? YES. To all of it.

Who knew robots could have this much personality? Not me. But now? I'm HERE FOR IT.

The Problem:

Four people need to cross a bridge at night with only one flashlight.

⦁ Bridge can only support two people at a time
⦁ Each person walks at a different speed
⦁ Total crossing times: 1, 2, 5, and 10 minutes

Challenge:

Get everyone across in 17 minutes or less.

Constraints:

⦁ Only two people can cross together
⦁ Pair must move at the slower person's speed
⦁ Flashlight must be used for each crossing

Solution Requirements:

⦁ Find the optimal crossing strategy
⦁ Minimize total crossing time
⦁ Use logical problem-solving
